There is going to be regeeking up on orienteering on my part, which will be much better than offering a mislabeled and misleading alternative trail on my phone app to further confuse the trail finding. Going with my gut when I was leaner worked better, not so all inclusive.
The thought of spending a cold night out in the desert with you never even remotely crossed my mind as a possibility. The dogs would be the saving grace of that scenario. I’ll have to modify my day packing items to include matches, iodine, and fuel/food for furry mobile emergency heaters.
