Fixe Hardware
« on: July 26, 2018, 02:33:03 PM »
Fixe's site has a new look and they have not run a decent sale for about 2 years.
They finally put a bolt hanger combo on sale.
The half inch sleeve bolt with hanger is on sale for $7.
Of course I don't need any of those right now.

The other thing they have that has been out of stock for months is three eighths SS hangers.
I managed to get some Metolius and Climb Tech hangers for about the same price while Fixe was out and they all arrived about a week before Fixe got their re-up - figures. No worries - they are all good metal at a decent price but I personally still prefer the Fixe hanger overall - especially for anchor hangers.

They are discounted to 2.25 if you buy 100 - $2.63 at your door by the time you add tax and shipping.

I got a big cert warning when I went to login. Site may be subjected to a man-in-the-middle attack.
I emailed Kevin about it.

Weird.
It works fine for me on Google Chrome.
It just asks me if I want to subscribe to their newsletter.
Okay on explorer too.

Tried it again today. Looks like it's addressed or was a session conflict of some sort. I put in an order for hangers.

clink - he hasn't been back out there - too much fun to be had on the Mother Slab.
When Brad was ready to push the main route (Mom) higher a couple weeks ago, I pretended to be scared and said  - No...We should really save this for Brian anyway.  :yesnod:

Geez - it's 68 and breezy here on the coast and 103 in the Pinns.

Wonder what I will do this weekend?

One more week and I won't have to care whether or not it is the weekend  :ihih:

are you going granite this weekend? I'll be up at Chipmunk tmrw. May have a rally of a few folks heading that way about 4pm for bullshit session and some beers. Come on up. Sunday at Burst (not Mom areas just in case you thought I was going to snake that line you are looking at).

Good, when this bulk deal comes, it's best to pony up the $$.

Think of all the routes we can add bolts to? Wet Kiss, POD, Carpet Cleaner & Edge of Sundown.

I'm not worthy.

Maybe next weekend. Thanks for the invite though.
Looks like we'll stick close to home this weekend and let the anticipation build.
Kat also has to be available one last time.
I have my eye on a few things up there but easy fun stuff (no one cares) - not to mention all the stuff that's been done.
Been almost 2 years since I did anything in the book! Would love to get back up to Chipmunk and just climb.

No, did a handful of other routes before it got hot, and then focus went to Granite land (with a capital G out of respect)  :yesnod:

I am really looking forward to this fall and winter to get back out to Pinns though! Last fall and winter really solidified my love for that place.
