Yep, I haven't seen a photo yet, although I'd love to. And I appreciate that after what, 123 years of stubborn refusal to do photos right, you're finally trying to atone for past ways.

Thanks, man! I'm sure that there's some nefarious idea behind your post, but I can't figure it out and it sounded kind and loving.

My neighbor lady has a Chrome book and I end up do IT services on that thing. Argh what a pain in the arse. When it died, I convinced her to get a cheap laptop with a real OS.

I am moving all of my home stuff to FreeBSD and open-source software. No particular reason except it is free and easy to work with. For the neighbor lady I recommended a pc from Best Buy with support. If a component fails their repair team is fairly good or you get a new one. Easy to deal with and good prices. I suppose I could have reloaded her pc with FreeBSD but that would void the warranty. At home I just use old used stuff that I get for free and for low cost. I brought my home pc into the office so the desktop guy could help me with a video card and my boss saw it. He still gives me a hard time about it.

Rattlers, i get shivers when moving cross country, in high grass....yes it will rattle, but you never know.
