Completely legit claim.
It helps if you're not completely incompetent in the kitchen.
There's no sawdust or vitamins in French toast.

Beat a couple eggs in a bowl big enough to accommodate bread slices.
Add a splash of milk with a dash of cinnamon and a touch of vanilla extract.
Soak the bread in the mixture (flip once).
Melt a pad of butter in a pan or a griddle (coat the bottom of the pan).
Toss in the soaked bread and flip once when lightly brown.
Slather with butter and real maple syrup.
Stuff in your face.

I know I've made French toast on at least a few occasions when you stayed with us.
Problem was you were too busy listening to the sound of your own voice and pounding your fists on the table to pay any attention.

Whoa Noal, way to turn Brad's "Breakfast at the New Hope Cafe" fantasy into the "The Big Slabs Dripping with Syrup and Butter Strike Back"

 Who's Your Daddy

Women are Voluptuous.  Food is not.  I'll take dreams of Russ Meyer blondes over dreams of French Toast any day.

OK, now we have two problems.

First, it's late afternoon here and your description has me craving French toast right NOW.

Second, you are wrong about your French toast. On all the many times I stayed with you two, you cooked breakfast on each occasion. And it was always (always) either spectacular oatmeal (NOTHING plain about yours!!) or wonderful scrambled eggs. Never French toast. So now my life is in a shambles as I realize that your French toast is probably as good as your other breakfast standards and not having tried it, my life is completely hopeless and even useless.

Oh, and third, I never, ever pounded the table. Instead I sang Johny Cash classics (in perfect tone and pitch I might add).

Those'll do.

J.C. worries me. His high falutin cooking standards make me think he'd take Vicki's side of a discussion in which Vicki was flat wrong.

She picked up some wonderful pre-made chicken salad for me the other day. Later I made a chicken salad sandwich for myself and, when asked by Vicki about lunch, told her that I'd cooked my own lunch.

Vicki told me that what I did wasn't cooking.

Add some golden raisins and toasted almonds to that chicken salad and you will be high fallutin'

So is the pack-it gourmet chicken salad and kickin' chicken cooking?  I dunno but it is one of the most ingenious back packing foods.

Both Packet Gourmet chicken salad mixes are fantastic. We take them on every backpacking trip. And yes, one has to add water to them. That's cooking.

I always joked that I still look pretty good on the outside but am rotten on the inside.
Evidently that was no joke.

They say the body is a temple.

For some of the members on here it is more akin to the Temple of Doom.

Luckily some folks can get away with that and maybe continue to roll that way their whole lives with nary a hiccup.

And then there is me...

Just need to catch you charging. Probably impossible since you keep your audience hypnotized.

Chicken Fries

Yep. Cluck...er...I mean...yuck it up chicken man.

Some of us are still young enough or older and lucky enough to subsist on the Temple of Doom nutritional? plan.

Okay, point taken. I admit to the personification of food. Nevertheless, combining the two dreams into one including an encounter with a highly educated and voluptuous woman, looking into her eyes while conversing and sharing utensils and a stacked plate of plentiful, mouthwatering, syrupy, dripping, buttery french toast could only be an enhancement!

A word of caution though, while in this particular dream setting, make sure to swallow before opening your mouth. Otherwise premature salivating could occur and your dream companion, upon realizing that your runaway drool is now all over the plate of french toast and that this occurred before experiencing the infinite potential ecstasy of the liaison for herself, might be disappointed.

Some seriously twisted Meanderthal Musings

On a different weird note - we watched a movie last night based on a true story and the husband really reminded me of someone.
