I can't tell what's going on in this (climbing?) thread but I'll join in the stream of consciousness:

Crud Dud
Poo Poo Pinnacle
Roundup took my gopher
Illegal for now
Unwilling little crud
Cobble hobble
Guidebook schmidebook

Crud Dud (Someone who failed to social distance from those infected, and caught granitetightass when it rages in mid to late Spring months.)
Poo Poo Pinnacle (Any new route under 40 meters or 5.9, when you aren't part of the FA)
Roundup took my gopher (The incredibly sad story of an enthusiastic gardener's battle with penile cancer)
Illegal for now (Child labor.)
Unwilling little crud (Unfinished homework, laundry, dishes, mopping of floors and lawns not mowed. Modern youth.)
Cobble hobble (Chaining a toddler to a large boulder, for safety, while rope-soloing, because the daycare and gym closed during covid.)
Guidebook schmidebook  :)

 The Strommossity

( Decent length, questionable rock, poorly protected, mossy, and with a liberal amount of "I shouldn't be here".)

From the AAC

The Climb United Route Name Task Force (RNTF), composed of a group of publishers and climbing community members, was gathered to build the best publishing practices to avoid harm caused by discriminatory or oppressive route names.

Sometimes it's completely justified:

And yet it'll also probably be taken too far into the realm of political correctness (absolutely no humor allowed!!).

^^^

And by the way, on this particular route (from an earlier edition of the Owens River Guide), Marty eventually changed the name himself, giving it instead the two last names of the (sophomoric) guys that put the route up.

If this is how the AAC is spending their time and money, I will recommend we cease any more donations from fund-raising events.

The Climb United Route Name Task Force (RNTF), really???? I thought that was an April Fool's joke. What are they going to do?

On the flip side, I'm surprised someone was willing to put the n-word into print....that's crazy

I'm sure it's a tiny fraction of their income, and their rescue insurance alone is worth the price of memebership (may none of us ever need that insurance).

This already happens in guidebooks.  Not all bad, not all good either, but I will wait and see.

All my route names are good

As some of you may have noticed, MISTER MUD  is a bit of an introvert. So imagine his enjoyment in finding a new scent that matches his personality.

He's now wearing Leave Me the Fuh cologne.
