Waldo, this is a perfect opportunity. We can accuse Pinnacles of exposing itself and cancel the National Park designation, and then go back to being a Monument and proud of it.

"Will the High Peaks Trail be rated X?"

The hand rails may be loaded with deadly bacteria and viruses and buggers. The good news is that if you are vaccinated against everything and taking antibiotics, you might score on a wad of gum stuck to them that still has flavor.

If I were to guess, I would say that the amount of rock displaced to make the High Peaks trail verses climbing bolt holes in Pinnacles is 50,000,000 to 1. To be fair, now that Pinnacles is a National Park, this seams to be equal to the ratio of hikers to climbers. Who knew?

You know. When a piece of lichen breaks off and lodges in your dry throat. You start hacking like a cat coughing up a hairball.

No thread fits this post about the Young household, but this thread is on top and easy:

We're getting concerned texts about the fire down next to Sonora. As of now that fire is 15 miles from us.

We haven't been evacuated and nor are we anywhere near an evacuation advisory. In fact my business partner, who lives in downtown Sonora, is evacuated and is staying with us.

Thanks for the concern, but we're fine.
