Abandoned rope on the west side (near Toog's)

Dan Gearhart sent me a message and a couple pics from the west side. Looks like someone may have bailed off Cuidado? with two? ropes and got them stuck. He said this has been hanging there for a couple weeks.

Nothing on FB or mtn proj about it. The rope looks like it may be fairly well used in the 2nd picture.

If anyone goes up there - consider getting the Wild Country quick draw off Flies on a Pile - it's been there for about 8 years.

There is also a post from 3 days ago on mtn proj that someone got a rope stuck on Costanoan on 4-27 and left it.
Probably long gone.

The rope from The Citadel is now in my garage and the owner knows it. She'll come up here to climb soon and to retrieve it.

Oh, my whole big party saw this on Saturday coming through the caves. It seemed pretty dang stuck. We also got a pretty new Madrock Draw off the 4th or 5th bolt of Nipples and Knobs at the Lower Flumes! It was right where it gets cruxy, and there's a minor runout. I guess I know why they bailed.

It seems like someone was able to remove the blue rope from the Balconies Cave area - I found it nicely colied yesterday at the Machete access trail junction. I packed it and hiked back to the east side of the park with it. I'll keep it in one of the buildings there and see if anyone claims it.

Why anyone would rappel down right on top of the trail in an enclosed corridor like that is beyond me.
If someone claims it you should have one of the LEO's hand it back to them with a big fat citation.

 Could have been one of those "Gender Reveal Parties". They hike the oversize group of overexcited and intoxicated friends and family into the cave area and have a male or female(depending on the expectant couple's ultrasound results) make the dramatic rap in, wearing pink or blue short-shorts.

 With your sexy man legs, your “Modern Loincloth” with the small zippered pouch for a cell phone pics would probably go viral. Great exposure for a budding company. (IMO, the loincloth, large zippered pouch version, for a guidebook and snacks, just wouldn’t look right from any angle)
