castle was a real special place for me after we got the first call about the whole mess. jen and i took tessa up there right after the phone call and hung out for a while over at indian. ran to evan and his fam that afternoon.
it was the place i went to escape from everything, dp'ing alone or with the crew.. filming stuff and working hard on problems that were hard for me. kept me sane.
i miss castle a lot and those two years where we boldered up there extensively where awesome...a combination of having a lot of time off and still getting paid, becoming a dad, sending probs, hangin with the bros, and having a different perspective on life and understanding the fuckin tick tock of the clock made em two of the best years in terms of all around contentness and being really happy, even though there was a lot of negative stuff going on as well...
