A holiday tradition is a Coe ride the day after Thanksgiving Day. I'm saturated with the phrase “Black Friday” so it is a conscience decision to not title this ride Black Friday at Coe. Heavy traffic on 1o1—going to/from the Gilroy Outlet stores I assume—meant I didn’t completely escape the retail binge.
This year it was just Mike B and I. The plan was to do just a couple front-range loops utilizing the Jim Donnelly Trail. We had fantastic weather!

Mike did just the first loop. On the second, shorter loop I found a fallen tree on the Timm Trail:
