I am not celebrating Obama coming into office.
I am celebrating Bush leaving office.
Not sure exactly where. Perhaps the British Pub off of Fair Oaks, I am open for ideas.

you folks planning on pulling on some plastic before bending the elbows on monday?
slabs and pints?

I will see what I can do but lately I have been working fairly long hours. I am embroiled in a large project. The project is at a point where it really needs to make some good progress over the next two weeks.

Beers and Cheers tonight.
This place has better service and better food than the Duke. It is closer to the gym for those that are going there. Plus it has a free internet hot spot for those that just cannot quit working. It can be easy to miss off of lawrence to keep your eyes out. Parking is around back. It is on the same side of Lawrence as McDonalds and is located between McDonalds and Central.

he will show. thats a weaker excuse than needing new tires >:D
-
I will be in bed by 10pm sleeping. Guaranteed.

Today has been a good day. I worked hard, ate well, enjoyed a casual drink, drove casually home.
Tonight we can go to sleep knowing that to a certain extent tomorrow is a better day.
-
Perhaps tomorrow...
We'll see what you think in 101 days. :P

I think he will have to try hard to do worse than Bush.
As I have said in the past I am not celebrating Obama coming in I am celebrating Bush leaving. Eight years of Bush was way to many. The new Pres will have many challenges.
We have had a bull in the china shop for a while and gluing every back together will not be an easy task.
-
True enough...
I just don't like to see people so blindly following someone and talk as if he is the Messiah. He's still a politician!
-
I agree. I think part of the hoopla is, and I hate to say this, but that hope word. After 8 years of Bush people are hoping this guy will be The Messiah. Many of us are grasping at straws.
McCain has some valid points of view, he also had some that I did not like. The he, out of the blue, picked the Bush in a skirt for a Vice.
So when the Obama opportunity came along it was like a fresh drink of water after spending a week in the desert. Add that to fact that he is half black, there are a butt load of people, me one of them, that thought no way that is going to happen. All of it together and it kinda becomes a big deal.
I have not watched any tv except for an hour of a Sharks game. The radio has been mostly off. So the whole event isn't bothering me to much.
-
Okay, he's gone. So now what???
Get back to work!
-
Sheesh, slave driver!
Now, has anybody seen my husband lately?
-
Still at St. John's watching TV.
-
work, work, work. Although I am not as bad as Uber.
