Good name for a route

Saw the Needles for the first time today. Drove past them on the way to Johnny's hardest hike to date, down to the Kern and back. Hot one! He had to dig deep on the hike out around noon.
Seven flybye's of military jets. Two were below us when we were near the top of the canyon.
Listened to a lot of music today. Johnny asked me who my favorite band is. I realized that I don't have one favorite. Do any of you have one favorite band?

Needles, good climbing

I'm actually not a fan of Skid Row. S. Bach is a numbnut.
But over the last several years I've been really enjoying Queens of the Stone Age. If you haven't heard them, give a listen. Post Grunge rock and roll sound. Well composed and interesting tunes. Easy to crank it up and belt out the choruses from the truck window!
Dave Groll on drums...

I can say the same about Primus. They have really surprised me. They have a diverse portfolio. Will check out Queens of the Stone Age. One other band that I got turned onto not to long ago is Ween. They took me by surprise, they are another diverse band. Ween has a country album that is superb.
One thing is for sure, it is difficult to beat beethoven.
The actual Johann Sebastian Bach is always good turned up to 11 while motoring down the speedway or stuck in traffic.

Queens of the Stone Age, Songs for the Deaf album is one of the best "modern" (this millennium) rock albums there is. Dave Grohl on drums as Munge mentioned is the shit. That and every Tool album....

Most modern music makes me want to stick a fork in my leg :yesnod: :yikes:

He has not moved past Bing Crosby.
