Title: Thinking of going To the Pins Sat to work on a route. Anyone interested
Post by: mynameismud on November 06, 2015, 11:14:10 AM
I am thinking of blowing off work on Saturday and going to the Pins.  I have a route in mind that I would like to work on.  Ok I have a few that I have in mind but this one first.

If anyone is interested let me know.   I plan to make a day of it, if your in for all or part that is cool.

I've got a fundraiser breakfast tomorrow and then a fundraiser dinner (for our eighth graders and then for our high school).

So I'm sticking around here. May try to get a few hours up in the high county - temps will be perfect for "sending."

(A different kind of "sending" than your PM, dude   :P   )

Does that involve climbing?

Just curious.

I doubt I could fit into my harness, let alone shoes.

Come by if you are working.

If not I'll have the boy's TP your car with silly  string.
 ;D

climbed with Mud today. Fun day with perfect temps. Talked to a few other folks before and after. Got a few new bolts in. Out for some rebolting with nelkins tomorrow - hopefully get a route done before the rains move in :)

It was good to see you all out there, and the spot you all are developing is super nice.  What a cool place to hang out, and I enjoyed the climbs and the climbers as well.  I surprised myself and lead a 5.9, drilled a bolt and had fun.  Hope to get out again next weekend.  The temps really were ideal.

Squiddo and I had a nice gym session today.
I tore up those 5.9s.
I'm not a 5.10 climber anymore.

Yes and I'm a 5umpteen climber. The umpteen extra pounds I weigh negate most advantages. Hope to get to climb with you guys this season.

Yes! I'll be there on  Sun. to celebrate Kathy, Alacia , and Lisa's route.  Would be nice to see everybody on this thread ( and anybody else who wants to climb) show up.   See you there!

You posted this a while back but you got any other projects you need help with? I'm out there at least every week.

Max,
This was a post by Dennis who recently moved out of the area.
We have a great event coming up in October.(PCAD)
It is the first "sticky" thread in the Masters of Mud section on here.
This would be a great opportunity for you and Simon to meet and talk with the core members on here.
We're working on getting a registration site up and running.
The core group on here is pretty active with all things Pinns - although only a few of us go there regularly or at all in the summer.  :o ??? ::) :ihih:

I've been looking into that, sadly i missed the last couple years due to work or travels. I will be trying to make it out there this year, though, Simon will be on his honeymoon at that time. I'll have to talk to Larry again about it.

Cool. Hope you can make it.

In the interim just keep an eye out for one or more of these loonies in the parking lot early or an orange dot off on a distant crag.
