Picked up the new bike today, got home made a few adjustment hooked up the lights and went for a quick 4.5 mile spin.

I must be missing something. It doesn't look like the shock can travel on the rear?

NICE....I've been thinking about changing out my gearie to a 29'er. Maybe not yet.

Beautiful bike, where did you end up getting it?

Not to be captain bring down but you have little time to enjoy those small block tires. They ROCK in anything but mud:-) That's right, it aint no winter tire:-)

I picked it up at Trailhead.  I had been working with Tread since they have been good to me so far.

I ended up calling around on Mudworms advice and it turned out Trailhead was closing out their 2010's and this was a deal I could not pass up.

True enough on the SB8's.  They were fine yesterday but today with just a bit of moisture I could feel them breaking loose, ended up in a full on high speed drift in a corner that was fine the day before.  Will most likely order tire's and a few other odds and ends this weekend.

So far all I can say is, fun bike.

why would I ever climb on a mtn bike??? Isn't it better to get a ride to the top of skyline and just go down hill?
